Solu'Bordelaise is a mineral fungicide based on copper sulfate (200 g/kg of metallic copper) that acts by contact. It forms a protective barrier on the aerial parts of the potato, preventing the germination of spores and the spread of the fungus Phytophthora infestans, responsible for the dreaded late blight. This preventative copper film protects the leaves and stems and limits attacks on the tubers, particularly during wet periods.
