Solu'Bordelaise is a mineral fungicide based on copper sulfate (200 g/kg of metallic copper) that acts by contact. It forms a protective barrier on the aerial parts of the tomato, preventing spore germination and the spread of the Phytophthora infestans fungus, which causes late blight. This preventative copper film effectively protects leaves, stems, and fruit, particularly during hot and humid periods, ideal conditions for the development of the disease.
